MY WORK

My main tasks as a Level Designer have been:

  • Designing and proposing layouts for new maps.
  • Being the design "owner" of multiple areas of the maps taking charge of implementing the blockout and doing multiple iterations of the design.
  • After the blockout stage, I worked side by side with the environment team to make sure that the visuals of the game were as good as possible while maintaining smooth gameplay.

ABOUT THE GAME

Due to NDA, I can't share a lot of information about the project. For over two years I worked as a Level Designer in an unannounced Multiplayer FPS as part of a team of around 100 people. Until now, all of my work had been in small teams either in college projects or in indie games. This is by far the biggest team I've been part of and it has taught me a lot about how communication and work in general is handled at this kind of scale.
